Levi Bellfield trial jury discharged

Levi Bellfield had denied murdering schoolgirl Milly Dowler who vanished from Surrey in 2002

The jury which found Levi Bellfield guilty of Milly Dowler's murder and was considering whether he tried to abduct a girl of 11, has been discharged.

The former nightclub doorman was convicted on Thursday of killing 13-year-old Milly in March 2002.
But jurors were earlier discharged over the attempted abduction of Rachel Cowles, who is now 21.
The judge was told of an "avalanche of adverse publicity" following his conviction for Milly's murder.
The judge will now sentence Bellfield for the murder of Milly Dowler.
Milly's remains were found in Yateley Heath Wood, Hampshire, six months after she was last seen.
There were emotional scenes on Thursday as Bellfield, 43, was found guilty of the murder and abduction of Milly following a one-month trial at the Old Bailey.
Her mother Sally and sister Gemma, 25, collapsed after hearing the verdict.
Bellfield was convicted in 2008 of murdering 19-year-old Marsha McDonnell and French student Amelie Delagrange, 22, and is serving life sentences for both crimes.
He was also found guilty of the attempted murder of Kate Sheedy, 18.
